On 14 May, local fans of controversial celebrity chef/showman Gordon Ramsay will be treated to a rare chance to see their idol in action.

Brought to our shores by Samsung and the Good Food & Wine Show, which takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 13 to 16 May, Ramsay will be hosting a charity black-tie soiree at the One&Only Hotels Maze Restaurant.

Keen foodies will be able to take notes while the often volatile Ramsay sets about preparing a four-course feast of his signature dishes in the restaurants open-plan kitchen.

Therell be be ample opportunity to ask the gourmet guru why he gives his kitchen compatriots such a hard time on TV during the Q&A session!
