For a while now, the contemporary Morningside Shopping Centre has been hosting the extremely chi-chi French Market every Sunday. Jozinites have flocked there for tasty Italian meats, fabulous French cheeses, home-made jams, preserves and sauces, and other delicious deli-style food.

The latest news is that the newly revamped market has been relaunched as the Farmer’s Market, and will bring a good old-fashioned, fresh-from-the-farm earthiness to the mix with a variety of other foodstuffs. From now on the market will be open every Friday from 11am and will stock fresh farm produce alongside all the usual (and sometimes unusual) delicatessen treats, all under one very swish roof.
