On the evening of 15 July, Durbanville Hills will be hosting a special food-and-wine pairing class. Cellar master Martin Moore will be introducing keen vinophiles to the subtleties of creating the perfect partnership between wines and food by relying on instincts rather than set-in-stone commandments.
Participants will give their taste buds a workout, sampling a range of combinations, and discovering which pairings result in bliss, and which should be given a miss.
After class is dismissed, the “students” will be able to ward off the winter chill with a delicious tomato bredie dinner, accompanied by Durbanville Hillss finest tipples.
