Liron Gilhar is the ingenious man who is finally spicing up the fast-food franchise industry. He is responsible for creating Mexican Fresh, a brand-new, vibrant sit-down or take-away eatery, which is all about fresh, fabulous Mexican food – burritos, nachos, fajitas, tacos and quesadillas.

The menu leaves the decisions up to you: choose the filling or topping that grabs you: veg, beef, chicken or prawn, then decide on a delicious side, such as guacamole, pico de gallo, Mexican rice or fresh salsa, and add your own chilli, which means you get to decide just how hot you want it.

The flagship store recently opened in Jozi and there are more branches to come from October 2010. Its open seven days a week and is licensed, so you get to do the chilli thing with specialty Mexican drinks including tequila and Corona. Olé!
