In true Succulent Café style, the gorgeous eatery-cum-tea den, which is renowned for its spectacular pizzas, tea time treats and giant cupcakes, is now introducing an abundant harvest table.
Or, as owner Anisa Du Plessis puts it, “we have added a new and exciting food adventure to our existing menu as our customers can now enjoy a scrumptious meal from our harvest table.”
This veritable feast is available from 12pm to 2pm, daily, Monday to Sunday, and every day holds a new surprise. You can expect the table to be laden with comfort cuisine, the likes of bacon and apple rolls with a cinnamon glaze; beef olive casserole; aubergine bake; broccoli with three cheeses (gorgonzola, feta and parmesan); baby corn with marmite butter and parmesan; a biltong truffles platter… oh, the list goes on.
What makes this eating experience even more exciting is that you can bring a dish from home and fill it with a choice of delicious hearty meals and enjoy it with the family for dinner. Anisa says that the takeaway option has proved so successful that “we are seeing some clients visit us up to three times a week simply to try out what’s new on the harvest table that day.”
The scrumptious cake table has had new sugary treats added to it, too. Try the truly decadent and creatively-inspired rose cupcakes.
