I’m really surprised at the negative reviews! Having lived in Delhi for four years (and travelled a lot within India), I was delighted to find an Indian-style Indian restaurant in Joburg - with no judgment about the far more common Durban-Style places. Great service, great food and good value

They cannot claim to be strictly halal and serve alcohol, without proper certification they cannot claim to be halal @ all. They either do not understand halal or are ignorant, either way they are misleading the Muslim public.

This is a quaint little Indian restaurant. The wait staff are sweet and attentive, albeit somewhat challenged by English. The food though is good. Warm, flavoursome and inviting like any good curry should be.

This has got to be the worst Indian Meal I have ever eaten. Went there on Sunday and ordered a take-away. Chicken Korma with Butter Naan which cost over R 90.00 for a very small portion. My friend ordered Butter Chicken with Naan - also over R 90.00. Got it home and it honestly tasted like boiled chicken in yellow water. No difference between the 2 except perhaps the colour. That was it! I had two mouthfuls and left the rest. Honestly the restaurant was dead quiet when I arrived and I should have taken heed from that. Indian food is usually delicious but this restaurant is a huge waste of time and money.
