A time for judging

Abigail has not suddenly gone blonde, and she has not (yet) left the country. In fact, as we speak she is whizzing around eating and inspecting anything and everything resembling good food. It’s to be expected when you’re the sole judge for the country’s premier food awards, the Eat Out Restaurant Awards. Plus, with all the new categories we’ve introduced this year, her work is cut out for her. No longer just following white starched tablecloths in search of perfectly plated foie gras terrines, Abigail is now also eating her way through local pizzerias, suburban steakhouses and quirky country eateries. There’s excellent cooking and service to be had across the country – and sometimes in unexpected places. I’d like to invite you to let us know if you’ve come across anything magical. And who knows, it might just be recognised at this year’s awards ceremony in November.
