This sultry summer, wineries in the Stellenbosch Valley will be offering a jam-packed programme of festivities. From 16 to 18 December 2011, visitors to the valley can taste award-winning wines, sample mouth-watering food and enjoy entertainment for the whole family.

Participating wine producers are offering a range of wine experiences. Small boutique wineries give you the opportunity to taste rare vintages, while iconic brands will showcase their wines with scores of local and international accolades. Tours and sales are offered at most cellars and many of these have restaurant and picnic facilities.

The Stellenbosch Valley is a sub-route of the Stellenbosch American Express® Wine Routes, and includes farms like Jordan, Overgaauw, Middelvlei, Spier and Zevenwacht. The wine route represents more than 200 wine and grape producers within the boundaries of the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin classification.
