On our four weeks' tour of the Western Cape we had many good experiences but the highlight was Dinner at the Karoo Kombuis in Prince Albert -- because it was so unexpected. And never have we had such fine food. From the outside the place is not spectacular; it is the colourful, humorous, and gentle hosts, and the quality of the food that make the restaurant such an extraordinary experience.
