Lamberts Bay Crayfish and Culture Festival Lamberts Bay will be hosting its 11th annual Crayfish and Culture Festival on the weekend of 2-4 March 2012. Experience good, old-fashioned West Coast hospitality, music, more than 80 food and craft stalls and – most importantly – bucketloads of crayfish.
An abundance of affordable crayfish will be available at the Muisbosskerm Graça Crayfish and Wine Stall. Feast on traditional crayfish recipes and more seafood delights like paella, fish and chips, and oysters.
Activities on the festivals grounds include a rodeo bull, quad biking and water balls, while the Kiddies Corner will entertain the young ones with sand art, face painting, jumping castles, cotton candy and pancakes. For those so inclined there will be a modelling competition for children aged 9 to 12 years, as well as the crowing of Mej and Mnr Kreeffees. Entry forms and further details are available on www.kreeffees.com.
