You’ve identified the best bistro, discovered where to find excellent steak in your town and written a bucket list of restaurants with stupendous views. You’ve read about crispy, golden chips soaking up Prego sauce, the juiciest burgers, and fondants oozing molten chocolate. In fact, you’re practically drooling on your keyboard…  Now all you need to do is book a table.? ?

Eat Out now offers you the opportunity to reserve a table directly from a restaurant’s listing. To make a booking, click BOOK ONLINE NOW beneath the opening times on the restaurant listing. A pop-up form will appear. Select your date and time, fill in your details (ensuring that you give a valid email address) and click CONTINUE.

You’ll receive a preliminary email to acknowledge receipt of your request, a second email once your booking has been confirmed with the restaurant, and a third on the day of your booking to serve as a reminder. Your booking should take a few hours to be confirmed. You also have the option to forward the confirmation email to your fellow diners or add it to your Outlook or Google calendar.

You can change or cancel your booking at any time prior to dining by following a link on the confirmation email.

Eat Out's booking system is powered by ComeDine. If a restaurant is not listed with ComeDine and you’d like to book with them, you’ll be given the option to vote for them to be added. ComeDine will then approach the restaurant and enquire as to whether they would like to participate in the system. Alternatively, you can email us at info@eatout.co.za to request a restaurant to be added, and we’ll do our best.
