The winners of the 2012 Eat In DStv Food Network Awards were announced at a very special occasion at the Stellenbosch Slowmarket on Saturday 24 March. (See all the winners here and view all the pictures on the Eat In Facebook album here.)

In the designated Eat In market section at Oude Libertas, nominees from across the country set up stalls to showcase their wares, from fresh duck to spicy pickles, creamy mozzarella and olive oils. Producers eagerly shared their passion about their beloved farm animals, gardens and suppliers, making this unique celebration of local food a great success.
