Full stop cafe
10 out of 10 meal at this wonderful restaurant. We loved our gourmet lamb burgers. We ordered one on a bun with delicious potato chips and salad and the Go Naked version where you drop the bun and add 2 sides. Our friendly efficient waitress helped me decide on the mouthwatering zucchini fries. These had a light and crispy tempura batter and felt like long crispy chips!
Our meals were so delicious and faultless and the portions were generous including the toppings like halloumi and sundried tomato.
The owner and chef checked up on us a few times and told me about how everything is homemade with love, time and care. I highly recommend this gem.
Cafe st francis
Jackson's real food market and Eatery
Jacksons's is a light, spacious and cheery place. Undercover but open and airy with plenty space between happy diners.
The large menu has dishes and customizations to satisfy pretty much every lifestyle for every meal!
The passion and care can be sensed in the menu, setting and the efficient, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
We had freshly squeezed juice, cappuccinos and sourdough ciabatta towered with avo, scrambled egg and chunky cold smoked salmon. Delicious and healthy! Proof that organic, grass fed, sustainable food can be delicious and not break the bank.
Salinas
Enrico's on the bay
This is one of our favorite restaurants for our garden route holidays. We have enjoyed 2 wonderful lunches at this owner run restaurant.
Stunning location overlooking the beach sheltered from the sun by large umbrellas.
Efficient service with a smile by knowledgeable waitrons. Delicious, quality food and wine! Generous portions, reasonable prices.
We loved all of the fish, seafood and pasta we tried. Can't recommend it enough. Lots of space and lots of happy diners!
Hokkaido
Queen Sheba
I have eaten there numerous times over the years and have had consistently delicious food and great service. We love the combo platter which is a variety of Ethiopian vegetables, lentils, beef, lamb, chicken and boiled egg. It is served on a spongy Flatbread called injera which soaks up the gravy.
The platter comes with a basket of rolled up injera(brown teff and white rice). You tear the injera and use small pieces to scoop up the meat and veg stews.
Great service and friendly help available from the waiters or owner if you need explanations and guidance. Try the slightly sweet/salty popcorn for dessert which can be served with Ethiopian coffee. Well priced wine as well at R35 a glass!
Hokkaido
Been visiting for years and find it consistently good. Great variety of Chinese and Japanese food, sushi and a teppanyaki grill which is very entertaining to watch.
The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Our last meal was the salmon combo(R130) and tamago California rolls(Omelet on the outside.) We also had springrolls, edamame and a Seared Tuna and Avocado noodle salad with citrus ponzu dressing. Whole meal for 2 with cold drinks came to R334.
