Chocolate and chandeliers at Coco C

At Bloemfontein's Coco C the chocolate is not just in the name. Most of the dishes, even the savoury ones, use cacao to enhance the flavours. With master chef Suné Niemand, the brain behind most of the extravagant dishes, your high expectations won’t be disappointed.

Food:
Try the crayfish soup starter and the lamb with its minty flavour. Some of the town’s best haute cuisine.

Wine:
The fact the Coco C has its own sommelier says it all. The list boats some of the best wines and bubbles available in South Africa (and a few imported ones) but be prepared to pay for it. ?

Service:
Staff are exceptionally professional. This is one of the few places in the Rose City where someone will offer to take your coat. ?

Ambience:
Glittering chandeliers, velvet couches and crisp linen create a dramatic and very sophisticated atmosphere, but if you look closely, you’ll find a hint of playfulness too. ?

And…
Ask about their wine and food pairing experience, normally held on a Tuesday evening with a finely balanced six-course menu.
