Winner of an American Express Platinum Fine Dining Award for 2013, Seven on Kellner has sublime food and a cosy atmosphere.

Food
The duck breast is a great choice. Together with an oriental sweet glaze on stir-fried noodles, it’s succulent, tasty and well prepared, which is no surprise if you know the work of chef Kim Brackenridge. If you’re lucky enough to be there when her delicious homemade beef burger with bacon and jalapeno mayonnaise is the special of the day, do order it.

Wine
A wide selection of wines is mostly well priced.

Service
Excellent service is standard.

Ambience
The warm atmosphere of the restaurant, as well as the bar area, makes for a memorable night out.

And…
This must be one of Bloemfontein’s best restaurants, where you always know what you’ll be getting.
