Great vibe, excellent service. We had burgers which tasted great and was more than enough food for a meal. Drinks are also reasonably priced.

Comfortable, home-style pub food is the order of the day here. Feast on fillet, rump steak or their signature pork belly – served with mash and drizzled with honey and mustard sauce. The atmosphere is vibey yet relaxed, and the deck perfect for leisurely lunches during the warmer months.

The Steak and Ale. They should just be "The Ale" as they know nothing about cooking a steak Service....they should train their staff. We eat out at Turn n Tender at Nicolway in Jhb almost every Saturday. Never had a bad experience. For Umhlanga this is not acceptable. Joan scalajoan@gmail.com

t.gwala. when one is craving meat and drinks ,no place is better placed than this great spot, service is excellent as the staff makes an effort to make one feel welcomed, meat portions are as generous and my favourite would be the 800 gram ribs, i really cant fault this place. only on one occassion in 2014 december just after xmas 28th/29th where i opted for a takeaway instead as the placed was too full and my order understandable took some time to arrive but ive visited twice this year and i believe ill still go there for more. keep doing what you do best.

the service is normal,if the manager or that boss by the name of Gee can show that he cares and wishes to give everyone,either african,indian or white a good approach,we all can feel warm at Steak.
And where is the Andrew guy?? he was the one who brought me and my kids there.
