On Saturday 16 March, some of SA’s top chefs will create a unique interactive market-to-table dinner for 100 guests, sponsored by Woolworths. Part of the Eat Out DStv Food Network Produce Awards and Festival, the dinner will give attendees the opportunity to taste some of the weekend’s award-winning produce as prepared by chefs of award-winning restaurants.
Five top chefs will each prepare a dish using the produce from different winners and nominees. On arrival, guests will take part in the preparation of the dinner under the guidance of the chefs.
The pop-up will be coordinated by Hannerie Visser and HV Events – the team behind the Secret Festival – and Woodstock’s Old Biscuit Mill (where the Neighbourgoods Market is held) will be magically transformed for the event by Etienne Hanekom, designer of Shimmy Beach Club and 2011 Boschendal Style Award winner Makaron. Parking will be available inside the Old Biscuit Mill.
Tickets include three courses, with wine courtesy of Spier, and are on sale now for R400 each or R700 for a double ticket. Book yours now by emailing hv@hannerievisser.com.
