Terrible service. Visited on 19/11/2021 at midday. Unprofessional service, no waitron to greet and sit me, sat for a while before I was attended to, by the time one professional waitress, her name is Mpho I think, came to my table I was annoyed and felt the place was not worthy of my patronage.

I was there yesterday for sushi and experienced terrible service. Their low sodium soy sauce bottles were refilled with normal soy sauce. For a hypertensive person like myself, its dangerous to be refilling bottles with incorrect product. The sodium content is way too high. I was highly annoyed with my experience and won't be frequenting that spot. Such a disappointing experience.. yet that restaurant has potential to be amazing. Those staff have been there too long. They are lazy with terrible attitudes. Poor management clearly.

Thyme is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. The food portions are very generous as well as the food being delicious. The service is an 8/10 occasionally it slacks a bit but most of the time it's been great and the staff are friendly. The value for money is good. Overall Thyme is a great café and I would recommend it to everyone looking for a casual relaxing meal.

When the manager thinks it's more important to be clearing tables than serving customers that have been waiting for over 15min then you cannot call yourself a restaurant! Never encountered such terrible service - nothing changed even as we flagged this to him on our way out. I've been a regular here but will never go back.
