Recently expanded to include a light and airy inside dining area, this shop may be on the road to somewhere else, but it’s a worthwhile destination in itself. Here, set among cliffs in a beautiful flower garden, you’ll find the real-food produce of just about everyone in the area who’s doing anything, from jams, sauces, chutney and preserves to cheese, rusks, cakes and melt-in-the-mouth shortbread. From May to September you can get avocados and pecan nuts and year-round you can get at least one variety of naartjies, oranges, lemons and grapefruit from this citrus-growing area.
