Worst Eggs benedict I have ever had. Chef needs guidance on hollandais sauce. Real pitty as overall great restaurant. Fresh cream with scons great.

Owner's description
The Deck Restaurant is an intimate coffee shop style restaurant, sitting adjacent to the Irene Farm shop and only has 54 seats, it serves an a la carte menu and leads directly off The Dairy Shop serving a wide range of freshly-made breakfast and lunch options and retains a light, bistro vibe.
The menu was carefully created, with fresh and hearty homey foods, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth –try the scones with the famous “Irene Farm” thick cream, an Irene Farm favourite and must have when you are visiting the farm.

Horrible experience. Waited 10 minutes for a menu. Ordered a dish with onion marmelade and all I received was fried onions. The "manager" took the dish back and 5 minutes later I received the same dish and this time all they did was mix orange marmelade into the fried onion mix. This would now be the second time in 2 weeks where I received something I didn't want.

Bad Experience. Food stale, and chips cold, Spaghetti Bolognaise sprinkled with black pepper and child couldnt eat it! will not go there again travelled from Johannesburg for lunch and was extremely dissappointed!
