- Executive Chef Adrian
While I suppose I had high expectations for the night, as it was Valentine's I was sorely disappointed. First they failed to make the reservations as was requested in January. My husband had to fight tooth and nail to get a table, when on a arrival there were plenty of vacant tables and chairs. I asked the waiter what was in the asparagus salad, as I have food allergies, to which his response was "Have I read the menu?" He then suggested I choose something else, with less questions. The lamb I ordered was raw and tough. The chef himself seemed more interested with someone in a corner booth, a friend or family member I am not sure. I did notice they received bread with their meal while the rest of us plebs received nothing? Perhaps the chef should have spent more time in the kitchen or with the waiters. On departure we were promised chocolate truffles, which never came except when we were almost out the door we approached the receptionist who proceeded to bring us truffles on a spoon, "to show us". She then wrapped them in a tinfoil dodgy bag. Worst meal ever. Most redeemable thing was the company, and the wine!
