Gnocchi with burnt sage butter

A simple and delicious recipe for the ultimate comfort food.

Serves: 4

Ingredients

1kg fresh potato gnocchi
½ cup (110ml/100g) butter
2 crushed cloves garlic
handful fresh sage leaves
Parmesan shavings

Method

Heat a small pan over a low heat. Add butter and garlic and gently cook until butter starts to brown. Add sage leaves and cook for a minute, then remove from heat. Meanwhile, cook gnocchi. Toss sage butter through gnocchi and serve with shaved Parmesan.
