My colleagues and I were very happy with the service provided by the Tuscan BBQ in Groenkloof, not once but many times we’ve been there. They’re friendly and the place is neat too. The food, well prepared and to die for.

I went to Tuscan BBQ Groenkloof for a buffet lunch on Christmas and i had the worst dining experience i have ever had. Firstly it was a hot and humid day, their fans weren't working so it was uncomfortable to be there.I asked to be moved to another section where it could have been cooler. The manager promised to move us and he did not keep his word, so we had to settle. The place was over subscribed and the restaurant was short staffed. The waiters behaved like they have never gone through any form of etiquette training whatsoever. Our waiter took drink orders and we didn't see her for another 20 minutes. Eventually we went to the bar to place our drink orders.When i asked the waiter to justify her disappearing stunt, she said that the previous customers who were sitting at our table had walked out without paying (understandably so), hence she was sorting the issue out with the managers. The food was not being replenished fast enough and i remember some of it was cold. I tried out the rice and it tasted a bit off. I would not recommend Tuscan BBQ to any friends or family.It was my worst dining experience ever.
