Really tasty wholesome food, with friendly service and chilled ambience that suits the neighbourhood joint. Never had a bad experience there, and I have been going for years.

Owner's description
Being 4 minutes out of the city means that theres a sense of peace and quietness in leafy Tamboerskloof. People go there to unwind with their dogs over a good cup of tea and a light meal. Cafe Puka has a light, healthy spin on contemporary classics like salads, wraps and sandwiches.

This is a convenient little place run by a horrible man... it's a great pity. food is not bad, ambience is average, but the owner will insult you behind your back to other customers, i've never seen such rude behaviour. I make an effort to avoid this place.
