Deutsch Essen von seiner besten Seite! German food at its best!!! Oh my - where do I start? This restaurant is huuuuge - with quite a few different levels for dining - we always prefer the inside where the decor is light wood and it feels cosy. Ample parking behind the restaurant with a guard. The place mats are all embroidered, the service excellent, the prices good, the beer cold and the portions - HUGE! And not to mention the menu ..... A few friends decided to go German - we had pork chops with amazing fried potatoes, Pork Schnitzel with roast potatoes, Goulash with spatzle (the homemade German pasta) and a Schnitzel topped with Brie cheese and Cranberry sauce! What can I say - just look at the pictures!!!! I had a choc mousse cake for dessert and strong black coffee. Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!!

Dont waste your money. Went there for dinner and received a plate of oil. Absolutely disappointing and horrible food.

I organised my 60th birthday party at Schwabinger 387 Main Avenue Ferndale. The food was magnificent, the staff well attentive and I highly recommend this venue for exquisite food and specific celebrations. Thank you Schwabinger!

We had dinner at Schwabinger Stuben on Friday the 12th of Feb. It was for a work function and we were a table of 15. The restaurant was very busy and yet our waiter always seemed to be around. The best way someone can tell this is if you are sitting with an empty drink in your hand. And I was never put into such an uncomfortable position. As always at every work function theres some idiot who constantly complains about the service. This person was asked as to why he complains so much and his reasonexcuse was that it gets him the service he wants. Having been a waiter myself for a few years I consider this person to be a complete (insert four letter word of your choosing here). Yet even though he complained so much that I wanted to slap him, the waiter managed to not lose his cool. I hope its because he is a professional and not because he could be used to the abuse.The food was really, really good. I cant remember anybody complaining about anything to do with the taste and quality of the food. I had a pork schnitzel that had camembert cheese and cranberry jelly on it. Njammy! According to the menu all the food served at Schwabinger is cooked fresh and I guess this gives a good explanation of why it took our food so long to reach the table. Opinions vary from 45 minutes to an hour is the time it took. It should also be noted that the prices for the food are very reasonable.The only complaint I have is the condition of the gents wc. It is in terrible condition. It needs a good clean and a lot of maintenance work. There also wasnt any soap....
