What a lovely place to come alive, great atmosphere, friendly service and most of all quality food.

Easily one of East London's most famous restuarants. One in Berea and and Beacon Bay Crossing. Both offer personal service. Recognising their patrons by preferences in food and drinks , has to be why customers keep going back. Service is slick and friendly. The menu offers "taste sensations"...colour, vibrant and a fusion of flavour. Their specialities make your choice difficult...Burgers, Pizzas and Home made Pasta stand out as original combinations of selective ingredients . Your taste buds will go crazy and your appetite more than satisfied.

Ambience: depends on where you are seated
We once booked a table for 'outside', but when we arrived we were told that they only have a table inside for us. We were a little cramped and felt "stuck in the corner" (literally), but the staff apologized for the inconvenience and we made the best of it. Outside (alleyway) is probably the best place to sit (if it is nice weather / not raining). A few people have put "lovers locks" on the windows outside and it reminds me of Europe.
Parking is often a problem for us and you often have to walk across a very busy street (Chamberlain Road) if you can only find parking across the road... there is no pedestrian crossing there and it could be dangerous, especially if you have children or elderly persons with you.
Service: generally we have had good service here
The waiters don't 'bug you' too much but they are also attentive and friendly
Food: we normally only order the "Deluxe Burger", it's so good we don't want to try anything else in fear of it not living up to our regular favourite. Their "sweetpotato crisps" are also great. We also love the option of large mushrooms instead of buns on the burgers (Banting friendly).
The menu is on the small side but ample and the drinks menu is also ok.
In general a nice cosy little restaurant for a quick dinner after work with family / friends with a relaxed atmosphere. I'm not too sure if I would recommend it for your 'upmarket business dinners' with clients, etc. or an elegant romantic dinner for 2.... In my opinion it is a different type of restaurant more suited to families and small 'get-togethers' with good friends.

This is our current favorite place to eat in the Eastern Cape. The menu is interesting and the food is delicious. Service is superb - a big plus - service in the Eastern Cape is generally useless.
