The winning combination of fresh quality produce, a dynamic menu and exceptionally friendly service have contributed to the success of Greens restaurant brand. The original Greens restaurant launched in Constantia in 2001 and our Plattekloof branch opened in 2007.

Greens is simply a restaurant I love. Whether you are alone, with someone or a group of people, the staff at Greens always make you feel welcome from the time you step through the doors. Along with that welcoming feeling, the food is always superb. We ordered cappuccinos which were hot and creamy and tasted so good we had to order another round. I had the Eggs Benedict with Bacon and my husband the standard Traditional Breakfast. The eggs were softly poached to perfection and the bacon light and crispy. The hollandaise sauce was creamy with just the right amount of tang. My husband's scrambled eggs, bacon and the pork sausages were cooked to perfection. Definitely a restaurant to visit next time you are in the area.

This restaurant really needs to decide why it is in business, and if it wants to be in the hospitality business, your clients go to a restaurant to relax and enjoy the service offered and food, well after numerous visits to this establishment, I have witnessed the decline in client care, and last night was the absolute final straw.
On arrival at 19h15, acknowledged with no booking, and seven people, we were received by a harassed server who tried his best to accommodate us, a fellow server assisted and we were seated and left to our own devices, we eventually got a menu, no table treats (bread as is always the case) and eventually 26 minutes later a drinks order was taken, 2 beers, 2 hot chocolates and 3 milkshakes, the beers arrived, the hot chocolate arrived (cold) and 10 minutes later the milkshakes arrived after the other drinks, epic fail. for only half the drinks to arrive.
At this stage we still had not placed our food order, and considering we has two small children with us and it was now after 8, things were rapidly going pair shaped, it appears our waitron had forgotten us, and thank goodness the manager arrives on site, and tries to take control, but bless her she gets it wrong and recommends that we don't do pizza, as this will take time, well the food took way longer than the 20 minutes the pizza delay would have taken, 38 minutes later we get our food.
I have been to this place few times, and the service is just getting worse and worse. They have forgotten the fundamentals of business,....look after your customers, don't have staff bickering in the public eye, train your staff how to use the equipment and above all how to represent your brand.
At just before 21h00 and R1000.00 later, we left this restaurant, exhausted, not relaxed and the food was good, but not worth the stress associated with this experience
Shame on you Greens Plattekloof.
