Loved it. The bacon and potato soup was delicious along with the butternut risotto. Alex our waiter was brilliant, friendly and brought a lovely atmosphere to the afternoon.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at CPV. What a pleasant experience from beginning to end. The parking attendant was friendly and did his job well. The lady at front of house was very welcoming, with a radiant smile. Seated on the patio, the panoramic view was beautiful. Even the weather was perfect. For starters we had the soft shell crab and the char grilled prawns. Loved the squid ink crackers that accompanied the crab. Both dishes were full of flavor and couldn’t find any faults. For mains I ordered the Braised lamb and lamb cutlet on a bed of Mediterranean style veg with gnocchi and pine nuts. Both lamb cuts went down with angels singing - the braised lamb was slow-cooked till it surrendered with a mere jab of the fork, and the cutlet was perfect. The lamb jus was quite strong, and I preferred the lamb without it. The vegetables had good texture, punctuated by sharp bursts of feta and black olives. The dish is pricey, but for the chef’s attention to detail, the generous portion, and total enjoyment, totally worth it. My husband had the grilled rib-eye steak. He was ultra pleased with his steak, and his only reservation was that the onions were too sweet. The waitress was attentively pleasant and well trained. This is a wonderful venue for a celebration, but also great if you want to just enjoy life. We will be back.

The food was superb. The very high standard of service from everyone made the afternoon an unforgettable experience. I will always remember this dining experience. We will be back.

I came to Cape Point Vineyards to celebrate a very special occasion and am so pleased with my choice of venue. Apart from the view which is honestly one of the best views in the world, the food was delicious and our waitress - Grammar was amazing!

I am sorry, but a great view cannot make amends for poor service and overpriced food. A waiter putting our wine and water on the floor (in bucket) in 37 degrees! Too lazy to fetch a small table! Main course arriving while still busy with starter is a no, no! Overall a bad experience not to be repeated again.
