Spotted: Siya Kolisi and Beast out for dinner at top SA restaurant

Rugby legends Siya Kolisi and Tendai Mtawarira, best-known as ‘the Beast’ were spotted at FYN, Cape Town’s award-winning fine dining restaurant, alongside their respective significant others, Rachel Kolisi and Kuziva Makore-Mtawarira.
Chef Peter Tempelhoff’s FYN, located in the Cape City Bowl, hosted the South African rugby captain and his ex-Springbok colleague. The couples enjoyed a bespoke Japanese-African menu featuring Hokkaido milk bread, Oudtshoorn ostrich egg custard, Karoo truffles and sweet potato tataki.
Their choice of restaurant is no headscratcher – FYN has featured on the World’s 50 Best Discovery List and received the 2019 Eat Out VISI Style award, the same year it was number five in the Eat Out Top 10.
