Atlantic Seaboard stalwart Sauls has recently expanded its empire to the Southern Suburbs with the opening of Sauls Saloon and Grill  in Wynberg.

“I used to attract many happy customers from the southern suburbs to Sea Point,” says proprietor Saul Beder, “now I am in their heartland and I have come directly to them.” Tipping its hat to the American burger joints of the 50s, the restaurant is dotted with hamburger memorabilia and posters of celluloid stars James Dean and Marilyn Monroe.

As always, the 1.2kg Sauls Burger is on the menu, and will earn you a space on Sauls wall of fame if you manage to chow it down in 15 minutes.
