Want to know where to find the best burger in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape? The people have voted and these are the 2019 Eat Out Hellmann’s Best Burger Eateries, which were announced and awarded at this year’s Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Best Everyday Eateries.
Smokin’ Joe’s (Berea)
“Since our first time at Smokin Joes, we have never been satisfied by burgers anywhere else. Prior to tasting Smokin Joes burgers, we weren’t even burger lovers, but that has all changed since our first Nacho Libre Experience. Their beef patties are great and the buns are always soft and fresh. I love that they serve great coffee as well. Service is always fantastic and although we live more than a 100km away, we always find a way to get to Smokin Joes.” – Fathima Razak, Eat Out reader

Highly commended: Gibson’s Gourmet Burgers and Ribs (V&A Waterfront)
“There’s a reason this restaurant has won multiple awards. They definitely serve the best burgers and the options are endless. If burgers are not your thing then try their pork ribs. They are truly finger-licking good. They also have the biggest milkshake menu I’ve ever seen. This place is surely a crowd-pleaser.” – Eleanor Barlow, Eat Out reader
