The busy seaside strip in Mouille Point has gained a stylish new eatery, offering sidewalk views of the ocean from its plush interior. Lily’s, located on Beach Road in the former Newport Deli space, is the latest venture from The Kove Collection and is now open for breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Named after the daughter of the owner, Lily’s has quickly popped up in what has been a building site for months. The menu focuses on all-day eating with options like free-range eggs, toast with toppings, and oat bowls for breakfast, and elegantly plated bistro fare for lunch and dinner. You can expect dishes like Caesar salad croquettes, salmon fish cakes, buddha bowls, sesame tuna and confit duck leg as well as simple options of sandwiches, salads and burgers – including some vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options.
On the drinks side of things, this spot welcomes patrons for sundowners with signature cocktails and wines by the glass or carafe. For teetotallers, there are fresh juices, smoothies and herbal teas on offer.
Lily’s Restaurant is open Monday to Sunday from 7am to 10pm.
