They’ve got it all — appetisers, salads, burgers, and those world-famous wings. Hooters recently re-launched menu, combined with great atmosphere and service, means that happy guests are sure to be back for more.
Hooters arrived on South African shores in December 2009, with the first store opening in Umhlanga. Now the brand boasts six stores, with one each in Port Elizabeth and Pretoria, and three in Johannesburg.
The new menu boasts some scrumptious salads and the tasty Jamaican fillet for heartier appetites, but for those who want to go all out, the new Big Dipper Chilli Cheese Fries will have you licking the plate. (We hear they’re great washed down with a cold beer.)
The tongue-in-cheek Hooters branding sets the tone for a light-hearted, fun experience. Don’t be surprised to see families with young children digging into their meals. In fact, on Sundays, kids under 12 eat for free. And, with wall-to-wall HD screens, Hooters is also perfectly suited for watching your favourite sports games with the gang.
Gather some friends to test your knowledge on quiz-night Tuesdays, and on Wednesdays, make space for the all-you-can-eat wings – but be sure to reserve a table. Drinks specials offer great value for money, like 1 litre of draught beer for R40 on Big Daddy Thursdays, and half-price cocktails on Fridays, to kick off the weekend with a bang.
And while three of the stores – Port Elizabeth, Ruimsig and Willows in Pretoria – boast a new look with fresh and contemporary interior design, the Hooters brand cornerstones, built up over the last 30 years, remain.
Hooters is open 7 days a week, from 11.30am to late.
