As all Joburgers know, Karma is the place to go for fab Indian cuisine. Voted “Best Asian Restaurant” in Jozi for four years running, a new branch has recently opened in Fourways.

The original Karma, in Greenside, has been dishing up contemporary versions of traditional Northern Indian cuisine since 2000 – what they call “fab food reincarnated”, such as Kebabs stuffed with peppadews, feta cheese and herbs; Three nut curry with butternut, cashew nut and coconut and a variety of traditional naan breads.

After Greenside, two further outlets were launched: Karma Petit in Parktown North in 2002, and Karma Sandton in mid 2004.

All the meat is halaal and the menu features a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, which are cooked separately.

The décor relaxes with earthy surfaces, rust-coloured walls and a slightly exotic ambience.
