Know your potstill from your vintage? Your Brandy Alexander from your Sidecar? With The GoodLife Fine Brandy Festival, there’s at last a celebration “dedicated entirely to the alchemist art and enjoyment” of the countrys finest brandies.

Held at Sandton Sun from 28 – 30 May, The GoodLife Fine Brandy Festival will be themed The Good Life- – an appreciation of fine brandy.  The festival is a new initiative by the South African Brandy industry and is set to become an annual showcase for the local industry.

South Africas finest brandies can be experienced in the dedicated tasting halls, a salon privé and a restaurant fully devoted to brandy flavours:

The launch of the annual Brandy Cocktail Collection sees new cocktails especially developed for the festival in line with international trends uncovered. A new world of flavour combinations emerges at the festival restaurant as the Sandton Sun takes on  the challenge to experiment with the palette.

Of hoops and barrels is an event which displays coopers assembling barrels and finishing it off with their signature tunes.
