Capetonians are notorious for hibernating in winter, but this year we’ve got something to warm you right up. On Thursday 29 June, we’ll be hosting a Meet Out at Shimmy Beach Club at the V&A Waterfront.

Meet fellow foodies as you taste your way through 12 courses of tapas dishes, and try out pairings with three local craft beers. For this edition, Shimmy will be turning up the heat with a chilli-spiked menu. Look forward to dishes like volcano sushi, chipotle pulled pork belly croquettes with aioli, and salted caramel chilli fondant lollipops.

Entertainment will be provided by a Mariachi band.

Tickets are R350 per person and include the 12 courses, a welcome drink, plus taster portions of three craft beers, and shuttles to and from the Silo and South Arm Road parking areas.
