Get your girlfriends together and make a night of it every Thursday at Bamboo Sushi Lounge for Ladies’ Night. For R175 per person you can enjoy the sushi buffet, and parties of four or more will receive a complimentary bottle of wine to wash it all down. But the specials aren’t limited to ladies – from Mondays to Sundays between 11.30am and 9pm, everyone pays half price for sushi.
Beluga (Umhlanga)
Regulars at Beluga will know the sushi special all too well. For those who’ve yet to catch on, the best time to pop in for some sushi is between 11am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays, as well as any time on a Sunday. That’s when cocktails, sushi, dim sum and spring rolls go for half price.

As their slogan states: “Everyone loves John Dory’s” and that’s especially true for sushi fans after a good deal. Every Wednesday, the outlets around the country offer half-price sushi. Or from 11am to 4pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays you can choose any three green plates off the sushi belt for just R99.
Saki Pacific Grill (Pietermaritzburg)

Else enjoy a smaller feast with the half-price sushi offering. Thursday is Ladies’ Night, which means from 6pm to 11.30pm, women can enjoy half-price sushi (and a free cocktail with any main meal).
