Hit up these spots in Durban for amazing happy hour specials on draughts, craft beers and cocktails.
Don’t just stop in for the sushi and dim sum – between 12pm and 6pm, you can also enjoy discounted cocktails. The offer also applies all day on Sundays.
This Irish pub says it’s treating its “forever-loved customers” to post-work drinks with a “side of happiness” by offering half-price drinks and cocktails, and 25% off draughts, craft beer, Red Bull and burgers from 5pm to 6pm.
The weekend vibes start early at Hooters. On Thirsty Thursdays you can buy a draught for R19,99 from 4pm. From 4pm on Fridays, cocktails are half price.
Happy hour at this Italian-style restaurant runs from Monday to Saturday, 4.30pm to 6pm and from 3pm to 6pm on Sundays. The special excludes cocktails, shooters, soft drinks and bottles of wine.
Olive & Oil has a cocktail special where all cocktails are R39. This runs from Mondays to Thursdays, 12pm to 7pm.
Drown your sorrows or celebrate the wins with After Graft draughts between 4pm and 6pm, Mondays to Fridays. During this time, Wixworth G&Ts are R30 each, Republik Lager draughts are R25 and El Jimador tequila is R15. Also get six SAB beers for R100. Tuesday is Ladies’ Night, when all-women tables get half-price cocktails, signature burgers and set salads from 5pm.

Every week day, from 5pm to 6pm, it’s happy hour. You can buy one and get one free on any item at the bar. During happy hour there’s also live entertainment and hot dog and burger stands.
Happy hour has just been extended to three days a week: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. From 4pm to 6pm, pay just R20 for any of the That beers (except the NEIPA). On Tuesday, for Ladies’ Night, women-only tables get 50% off cocktails between 5pm and 7pm.
