Bilboa (Camps Bay)

End the year off in style at this beautiful beachfront restaurant on the Camps Bay strip. Bilboa is offering three year-end function set menus for R350, R480 and R650 per person. Highlights from the contemporary Mediterranean seafood-inspired menus include Bilboa specialities like the salmon with herb dukkah crust and Tahini yoghurt, and swordfish seasoned with Moroccan spice, lemon, chilli, garlic and fresh herbs.

Blanko Restaurant (Constantia) ? 

This beautiful Constantia restaurant has two delicious three-course menus for lunch and dinner, priced at R440 per person. The lunch menu includes grilled calamari; sirloin made with Shiraz butter, black olive sea salt and served with thin-cut fries; and desserts such as panna cotta, zabaglione and tiramisu. The dinner menu comprises starters of caprese, beef carpaccio and mussels; grilled fillet made with fresh oregano, wild mushroom vinaigrette, porcini sea salt and served with thin-cut fries; and vanilla, cream and chocolate meringue dessert.

The Bungalow Restaurant (Clifton) ? 

This seaside Mediterranean-inspired venue is perfect for an outter-city year-end function. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you tuck into a delectable meal from the three set menus priced at R390, R460 and R600 per person.

Camissa Brasserie at The Table Bay Hotel (V&A Waterfront)

For just R220 per person, spoil the whole team at this beautiful hotel restaurant with stunning views of the mountain and the sea.

The Cape Milner Hotel (Tamboerskloof)

Situated in the trendy suburb of Tamboerskloof, The Cape Milner Hotel is an ideal location for a year-end function. The three-course dinner package starts at R280 per person and includes a welcome drink and venue hire for a minimum of 20 people. There’s also an option to add personal touches that include a glass of bubbly on arrival, a photo booth and musical items at an extra cost.

Firefish Restaurant (V&A Waterfront) ? 

End the year off on a high note at this sophisticated harbour-side eatery and enjoy amazing seafood fresh from the ocean and hot off the grill. There’s a great selection of set menus that range from R220 to R600 per person.

La Parada (Camps Bay, City Bowl and Constantia Nek) ? 

La Parada has two tapas function menus available for lunch and dinner. The first includes poppers of whole piquanté peppers filled with cream cheese and basil aïoli; seared tuna tataki with sesame, avo mousse, chilli with shaved baby carrots and a spring onion and coriander salad; and churros dusted in sugar with a chocolate ganache dip for dessert. The second tapas menu features tuna tacos, prawn croquetas, fried calamari, pork belly, and churros and cheesecake for dessert. La Parada also has three normal three-course set menu options available for lunch and dinner, priced at R280, R320 and R400 per person.

La Petite Ferme (Franschhoek)

La Petite Ferme offers three different year-end function summer set menus – two courses for R365, three courses for R475 and three courses with bubbly on arrival plus tea or coffee for R590. Highlights from the menu include Wagyu tartare with pickled quail egg, caper berries, anchovy crème fraîche, poached vine tomato Worcestershire drops and salade de persil; slow-roasted pulled lamb with putu pap croquet, fermented figs, mint pea purée, balsamic pearls and micro vegetables; and three dessert options that include a plum pavlova with marinated plums, vanilla mascarpone, rose petal wafer and candy floss.

Lily’s Restaurant (Mouille Point) ? 

Lily’s has two year-end function set lunch or dinner three-course menus priced at R330 and R390 per person. The first set menu features beef carpaccio, mains of beef sirloin, grilled hake and a vegan stir fry, and a death by chocolate dessert. The second set menu includes Lily’s fishcakes, Sesame Street tuna fish, grilled beef fillet, mac and cheese, and coconut panna cotta.

Tiger’s Milk (Muizenburg, Long Street, Century City, Claremont, Stellenbosch, and Kloof Street) ? 

Tiger’s Milk offers two three-course set menus for lunch for R180 and R200 per person; four three-course set menus available for lunch and dinner at R250, R300, R350 and R400 per person; and a vegan menu available for lunch and dinner for R220 per person. Mains from each menu include pulled pork tacos, nachos, the vegetarian tree hugger burger, 300g beef rump, vegetarian pizza, 600g sticky pork ribs, and the pretender burger from the vegan menu.

Tigger 2 Royale (V&A Waterfront)

End the year off with a splash aboard the Tigger 2 Royale. Celebrate the end of the corporate year with an exclusive two-hour braai cruise for R550 per person. The braai meal features favourites of chicken kebabs, boerewors or line fish, two salads and rolls. The Tigger 2 Royale can cater for up to 65 passengers.

Tintswalo Atlantic (Hout Bay)

The year-end function packages at this five-star boutique hotel with views of the picturesque Hout Bay Harbour cater for corporate events for groups of up to 40 guests. The lunch menu includes canapés and a delectable four-course menu for R750 per person, excluding drinks. Executives also have the option of booking overnight accommodation in one of 12 luxury suites.

Tobago’s Restaurant at Raddison Blu (V&A Waterfront)

Tobago’s offers different year-end function menu options that include a three-course buffet from R465 per person; family-style platters for six guests or more at R425 per person; cocktails and canapés at R220 for six choices, R310 for nine choices and R400 for twelve choices; and a terrace braai menu of either a South African-style braai or a sea-side grill for R425 per person.
