Racist! This establishment doesn’t allow black people to frequent their space. By purposefully preventing them from entering the space.

We booked a table but when we arrived there was no one to greet us nor anyone who seemed to know of our booking. We were seated in a back corner in a room that was deafening and ignored for 15 mins. We ordered wine, eventually got the wine and then were ignored for another 20 mins (there restaurant had 2 other tables). Can't comment on the food because we ordered the bill and left. We will not be going back.

The food was good, but we felt like there was always something small about the food that wasn't quite right, for example, the fish was swimming in garlic, the steak was served already cut (forgive me if I'm the uncultured one expecting steak served uncut). But otherwise a nice place

What a beautiful new space on Kloof Nek Road! My friends and I loved the vibe of The Moveable Feast – with big windows for a dusk view and then candles and mirrors for an intimate ambience later in the evening. We went there on a Thursday night, and it was buzzing. The food is French bistro fare with an occasional Asian twist. For mains, I had the Parisian gnocchi with prawns - the gnocchi was light and fluffy, and the flavour of the sauce subtle and delicious. I definitely could've had more, as the portions are not huge. That said, it's always nice to leave a restaurant feeling perfectly satisfied and not overfull. Other mains to get the thumbs up: seabass and grilled broccoli and the vegetarian gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms. Overall, an enjoyable evening out, which had a feel of a special occasion thanks to the stunning location and food.

The food was delicious and not over priced apart from that, the atmosphere and service was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I recommend the movable feast to anyone and will definiteley go again
