Chenin Restaurant and Wine Bar has taken the place of the erstwhile Nose Wine Bar in Cape Town’s popular Cape Quarter development in De Waterkant.
Headed up by chef Daniel Heyns, previously from Zevenwacht and ZeroNineThreeTwo, amongst others, the focus is on seasonal contemporary brasserie-style dishes. Feast on the likes of bobotie wontons, squid with coriander chutney, and beetroot with horseradish and mustard cream , or roast duck with tropical fruit and spicy apricots. Those in search of a quick drink and light snack can opt for a charcuterie platter or cheese board.
