THIS IS THE WORST SUSHI I have ever had! The avocado was brown and the sushi was off.

Excellent sushi and teppanyaki restaurant. Had a large boat with some friends and couldn’t finish it. The seared spicy tuna is excellent and the firewater packs a punch. Good service with friendly waiters.

A small-scale restaurant with a modern yet cozy ambience, that serves a wide variety of sushi from fresh salmon roses to marlin nigiri presented on a wooden boat. Great for sharing. Prices ranged from R299 for a small boat to R499 for a large boat, if I remember correctly . I recommend starting your meal with Japanese oysters, a heated yet refreshing number that wakes up your senses. The restaurant also serves tappanyaki cooked in front of your very eyes. A great spectacle. Food is fresh and tastes amazing. For dessert we ended our meal with wasabi and green tea ice-cream. A must try! Waiters are polite and friendly. A wonderful experience.

Jungle is the only sushi restaurant that I will eat at. I have tried many others in Johannesburg and though they are not all bad, Jungle just has something special. Their sushi is always fresh! The staff are always friendly and accommodating! If you have not yet been here, then it is a definite must for sushi lovers!
