The only small negative they are pricey

Mall of Africa is at our doorstep and Casa Bella is one of our first choices. There are two standout dishes for me. The lasagna! My word, it is what bowls should be made of! A hearty and delicious dish. I always steal some of my boyfriends even though I'm eating "healthy". The calamari is also super delicious and I will choose the calamari dish here over many seafood restaurants. The accompanying zucchini fries are such a treat. And it will leave you with some place for your boyfriends lasagna! Score. We have tried out the pasta dishes (pork and seafood) and were not too impressed therefore we stick with these two winners. Always serviced with a smile here too so makes for a lovely night out.

This is my favourite restaurant by far! Nestled in the new Mall of Africa, Casa Bella is the big and distinguished brother of Spur and Rocomamas (Part of the Spur group). The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and has a very rustic look to it. When seated, the waiter will serve you bread pockets (only way to describe it) in a brown packet. These are absolutely delicious and probably my favourite thing to eat there. Now I have been there on numerous occasions and ordered many different kinds of dishes for example: Parma Ham Pizza, Veggie Lasagne, Fillet Gorgonzola, Parmesean Crusted Chicken. But my favourite is the Oxtail. It is so tender and the meat slides right off of the bone. They make a perfect Oxtail! They are definitely doing something right - they need to open more branches in JHB.
