On one of the coldest wettest nights in Cape Town in recent months our group of friends made a spontaneous decision to head to Jamaica Me Crazy for the Tuesday night pub quiz. We didn't think to book and just hopped in an uber and arrived on the dot at 8pm ready for the quiz. However, on arrival we discovered that because no one had booked, the quiz had been cancelled. We decided to stay anyway for a drink next to the fire and started just asking each other general knowledge questions. One of the staff overheard us and - bless him - prepared a quick 20 question quiz specially for our group. We ended up having such a fun evening full of laughs, good food (their pizza is delicious!) and complimentary shooters for the quiz winners, and it was all thanks to the great staff that pulled together to turn our initial let-down into a joyous evening. I would highly recommend Jamaica Me Crazy for a good group night out!

Great place, great food, great atmosphere, good prices. Try the Monday specials or the cocktail happy hour, for example. Worth returning to. Always had good experience all around. Jah Bless

The food was horrific. The drinks and food were expensive. Good thing they've got a good name and a nice vibe because if they didn't this place would have closed down months ago. Much better and cheaper places to go in Cape Town.
