Sit back in the Winelands-inspired restaurant, which includes touches of old-world elegance. The extensive Italian-inspired menu includes pastas, pizzas and steaks sizzling on the grill. Of course, being situated in Cape Town, included on the menu is tasty seafood fresh from the ocean, and a perennial winter favourite, pork belly roast. A kids menu is also available.At the heart of Protea Hotel Durbanville is the pool terrace. Warm, sunny and sheltered, it boasts a large swimming pool surrounded by chilled, scattered seating and funky sun loungers. Luxuriant greenery surrounds the area providing a laid-back space for after-work drinks and snacks – including some of the best wood-fired pizzas.The pool area spills out from a warm and vibey bar and lounge area.
