If you love authentic asian, definitely come here.We tried the General Chicken, the number 1 dish on their menu, and the Sweet+Sour Pork. Very tasty and good portions.The tacky decor and lack of music adds to a fun experience, and where else can you drink beer out of a wine glass? One of Cape Town's hidden gems. Amazing food, a great ambiance and excellent service.

Wish there was an option on this site to add MORE than five stars for service AND food cause even though the ambiance is not it's strong suit, it remains true tutu it's roots and delivers on the best Chinese food that I've had, EVER. The service from the friendly proprietor is similarly authentic and warm.
Even with NO ambiance, it is cozy enough for a first date.
If you even REMOTELY fancy Chinese food but have been burned by the same old same old, give this a try; bet you'll be back soon.

My hubby and I regularly visit Chuck Yang's restaurant. Our favourite dish is his "regular" beef, but no matter what you order, each dish is a taste sensation! Chucky cetainly knows his stuff and his wife Tina is a graceful and efficient hostess. We love the place!
