With its salmon-filled buttery croissants and generous ‘Overberg Breakfast’, it’s no surprise that this place is packed with locals and tourists on Saturday mornings. It’s a great breakfast spot, but there are also heavier options for lunch. Think generous open sandwiches with smoked chicken and grilled pineapple, or a hefty portion of local lamb tjops. Ask about the weekly specials, which can be a little more exciting.

A rather small list of boutique wineries from local cellars.

On the ball and welcoming.

Ambience:

The terrace overlooks the charming Roux Memorial Gardens, while cosy tables indoors are more glam and surrounded by the objects d’art on sale next door.
