Perfect place to enjoy a casual Saturday lunch. The food is superb. The service is good and the vibe is chilled.

This restaurant used to be funky before its refurbishment. Its new look is ok ..ish, but the service is mediocre and the food dreadful. A friend and I were there a few days ago and had the worst meal in any restaurant in the last two years. We had a vegetable tempura as starter, veg deep fried in stale oil, and then spare ribs, too salty, totally horrible. I will NEVER go back there.

I re-aquainted myself with the newly furbished Tribeca in brooklyn Design Square. The decor looked absolutely stunning with it's glowing square tube lighting, georgian wire glass screens, retro green and red and softened with dark rough timber wall cladding. This new look has replaced Tribeca Brooklyn's quaint intimate flair which it was known for with industrial boldness, which some religious Tribeca customers might not be too happy about. The service of the waiters and general manager was superb, being greeted immediately at reception and guided to preferred seating. Up to date and alternative music was playing if however loudly in competing with the rest of Design Square, so that can be forgiven. However, the meal ordered was not very satisfactory. Arriving late, which is also understandable as the restaurant was busy and the waiter was on the ball in keeping us occupied, always attending to our drinks and politely apologising for the wait, but the overcooked and dried out patties on the much anticipated burger was very disappointing. I will definitely try the restaurant again and hopefully be pleasantly surprised by a choice of another meal for a second try at their menu.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.
