Food:

Chef-owner Franck Dangeureux's ever-changing menu that marries French technique, local produce and a certain homey je ne sais quoi continues to inspire foodies to trek to Noordhoek for their fix. From the deceptively simple linefish with garlic cream sauce to a steak au poivre with brandy and Kampot pepper jus, the subtle genius of the sauces astounds, while the general level of excellence will linger like a story well told.

Wine:

Treat yourself and go for a pairing (by the carafe) that will include many of the region's best boutique options.

Service:

The service is warm and welcoming, if not on quite the same level as the outstanding cuisine.

Ambience:

The name says it all: a farmhouse feel in aqua and white.

And...:

Amazing winter specials and regular cooking demos keep things interesting off-season. (LM, October 2012)
