I'L get straight to the point, Im soo Disgusted and Dissapointed with this Restaurant that im even out of words to describe my incidents today, Yes INCIDENTS. This Restaurant is known for good food no doubt but after today i will never support them again. Its even more upsetting because my dream is to own my own Restaurant and be successful at it and To Be Clean which is Of Key Importance. This is the Standard, Cleanliness,Service and Good Food All Goes Together. Anyway after my Deliveries from Vereninging to Honeydew and back to Jhb Obviously i was Hungry, so i stopped and went in and was greeted by the man behind the counter. I placed my Order and paid, But at the Same Time He Was Pulling the Mucus from his Nose and pulling it out of his Mouth with a loud Noise and Spat in the bin right there!!! If he went to the bathroom and as a Customer i didnt hear or see this than it would still be fine but i mean if you do that and than also clear the mucus and cuff from your throat and spit where you work thats Filthy. I didnt say anything but wanted to Vomit at that time. I went to sit and wait for my food and To my Surprise the Guy at the IceCream Counter is Picking his nose and pulling out his Snot ,Looking at it as he rolls his finger and thumb. He sees me Looking at him Just ignores me and carries on like its Fine to do. I never Ate my Food i rather gave it to the Unfotunate People you pass at the robot. If the staff in front are so Filthy than what about the Kitchen Staff. They must be Doing the Same if not Worsed!

Friends have warned that this place is not known for hygiene and food safety. I ate there once before and the food was ok-not outstanding. Last week I orderd 2 curries for take-away. As I was leaving, I saw a cockroach run towards the counter which the chef just stood on and left. When I got home with the take-away, I found a cockroach in the salad after a few bites. I will not be eating there again!

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday 23/5/09. As it was a long time since we have dined at an Indian retaurant we asked the waiter for help and suggestions.I was delighted to get a jug of water and glasses without asking for it, on placing our order, as we always need this when eating curry. We had a chicken curry and a mutton curry (with rice and naan bread) both of which were lovely and spicy. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We were very impressed and certainly will be bringing friends and family to join us here and recommending the restaurant.

Dont even consider this place for any food.
